Internet Connection in PKM-Andalas University

Horray!!! The Omni antenna has been arrived in neotelemetri secretariat. What is it?
Before i explain, maybe i should tell you what happen with intenet in PKM recently.
After college student registration in PKM, the internet shutdown properly in PKM-Andalas Universty. Until yesterday, the wireless access cannot be obtain, and many PKM activists complain.
Some people maybe blame neotelemetri in this situation, but actually we don’t have to take responsibilty on that. Because it’s 100% ICT employee duty. But we try our best to fix this problem, with our savings we buy wireless router and the omni antenna.
Neotelemetri member that work in Network and system computer, such as Dicky, Benny, Radi try to make the best setting, but they got some problem. Nazwarman as a senior in Network and system computer contacted and gave them an explanation how to install omni antenna and wireless router.
Wireless router is a device that performs the functions of a router but also includes the functions of a wireless access point. It is commonly used to allow access to the Internet or a computer network without the need for a cabled connection. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wireless_router)
Omni Antenna is used to redirect the signal from the transmitter. And it can transmit signal too.
With both tool, we can make an access point in a place.
Ok, now we can access internet in PKM-Andalas University for a while… because we haven’t fix this setting in good one, perhaps in this short time.
We plan to limit the access by giving password for this connection ^
because this access just for UKM not for public.
